Niágara Cruz is a Brazilian musician and writer who released her second children's book last October, Lua de Couro (Leather Moon in English). Egypt was the country chosen for the first release, since she was involved in a teaching project there with local students of Portuguese.

The book is an independent release and took advantage of the Portuguese Language Department at the Aswan Univserity, uniting this publication to the music and teaching project Niágara participated in.

The book was presented in the Luxor Science School in front of the group of Portuguese learners of the above mentioned university.

As in her first book, Niágara Cruz includes in Lua de Couro (Leather Moon in English) a music CD, joining both her professional sides. The book is about a boy lost in the desert, which further enhances the good idea on presenting the book in Egypt.

The book is expected to be released in Brazil next December.
